Translational Medicine Journal is the 1st professional periodical approved for publish by General Administration of Press and Publish of P. R. China in the field of the translational medicine research (CN 10-1042/R, ISSN 2095-3097). As an open access journal, it is sponsored by The 6th Medical Center, Chinese PLA General Hospital, edited bimonthly and the first issue was published on Aug. 2012.
With the goal to improve medical treatment, prevention and health care, led by the motive of transforming and applying basic medical results to clinical diagnosis，treatment，preventive medicine and other areas, the publication builds a media communication platform for the Government, universities, research institutions, hospitals and pharmaceutical enterprises. Managed in good faith and pragmatic of science, the publication tracks highlight reports in biomedical research, gives prominence to new technology and new methods reflecting the basic medicine, clinical medicine, biology, pharmacy, information technology, and shares the experience and resources in successful clinical and transformation research programs, explores clinical research standards and specifications of the work practice, promoting products and technology innovation beneficial to the people.
The main sections include Perspectives, Original experimental and Clinical research, Reviews, Methodology, and Case reports. Short communications and letters to the editor are also welcome.
